Top 10 Plastic Manufacturers in U.S.A
We all know that plastic is everywhere. There are approximately 90,000 different types of plastic grades available in the USA. These plastics are classified into film, recycled, rapid prototyping, adhesives, and of course, thermosets and thermoplastics. The list is not going to stop anytime soon, thanks to the versatility of plastic material.
However, the modern supply chain for the entire world depends on China (and a few other Asian countries), including plastic processing as a whole. But, after the COVID-19 pandemic shook the world and made people in the USA rethink outsourcing manufacturing to china (there are many reasons for that, but that’s a topic for another day).
Manufacturers are rather keen on moving their supply chain back to the US. Interestingly, one study found that 62% of manufacturers want to source more supplies domestically in 2021.
The popular industrial marketplace IndustryNet is witnessing impressive growth in domestic sourcing activities, including the plastic processing industry, which recorded more than 1500 searches from industrial buyers interested in plastic molding services in 2021: year-on-year category searches, requests for quotes, and catalog downloads are also on the rise.
Meanwhile, let’s look at the top 10 Plastic manufacturing companies in the US.

Plastic manufacturers are all here.
Thank you very much.
What are your sources?
That’s a good question. My sources are Wikipedia, company websites, yahoo finance, and DNB.
I read that only 9% of plastic is actually recycled. That’s ridiculous. Plastic is turning the world into a waste dump, most importantly the oceans.
I completely agree, james, but we don’t have a choice. Things will change only when we find a sustainable and cheap alternative for plastics.
Accurate information on the companies. Good to know there are still some people on the internet who still gives a damn about sharing true information.
Thanks.
